Idle Animator Privacy Policy
Idle Animator is a mobile game made by Mild Beast Games LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. It applies to Idle Animator on iOS and Android, and to the game's website, idleanimator.com.
The short version
- You do not create an account, and the game never asks for your name, email address or contacts.
- If you sign up for email updates on our website, we keep your email address to send them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Your game progress is saved on your device only.
- We collect statistics about how the game is played, to improve it. You can turn this off in Settings.
- If the game crashes, it sends us a technical report so we can fix the problem.
- Ads are optional: you choose to watch one for a boost. Ads are personalized only if you allow it.
- Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
What we collect and why
Gameplay statistics
Once you agree to this policy, the game sends statistics to Unity Analytics, a service run by Unity Technologies. We use them to understand how the game is played, balance it and find problems. The game reports these moments:
- ranking up and which film you are working on;
- claiming a mission reward;
- unlocking or automating a job;
- unlocking or upgrading a card, and opening a chest (including whether it was bought);
- spending in-game currency on larger actions, with the amount and what it paid for;
- returning after time away, with how long you were gone and what you earned;
- starting a rewarded ad and how it ended, and the estimated revenue of an ad shown;
- purchases made in the game, which the purchasing service reports.
Unity's software also records standard technical information with these statistics: a randomly generated identifier for your installation, device model, operating system version, language, app version, session times, and the country your connection appears to come from (derived from your IP address).
You can stop this at any time: open Settings in the game and turn off "Share gameplay statistics".
Advertising
The game offers rewarded ads: you choose to watch one in exchange for a boost. Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource) and the Unity Ads network, both run by Unity Technologies. To deliver and measure ads, these services receive technical information such as your IP address, device model, operating system, language, and which ads you were shown and how you interacted with them.
The first time you play, you are asked whether our ad partners may use data from your device, such as its advertising identifier, to show ads that suit you. On Android the game asks this itself. On iOS it is asked through Apple's tracking permission prompt.
- If you allow it, ad partners may use your advertising identifier to personalize ads.
- If you decline, we tell our ad partners that you have not consented, and you still get the same game with ads that are not personalized.
You can change your answer at any time under "Personalized ads" in Settings. On iOS, if you declined Apple's prompt, turning it back on takes you to your device's settings, where tracking is allowed.
Crash reports
If the game crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Unity's crash reporting service so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains what the game was doing when it failed (the error and a short log of the game's recent technical messages), together with the device model, operating system version, app version, memory and graphics details, and a randomly generated identifier for your installation. It does not contain your name or contact details. Crash reports are sent whenever the game is running and are not affected by the "Share gameplay statistics" setting.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. We receive confirmation of what was bought so the game can deliver it. We never receive your card number or other payment details.
Your saved game and settings
Your progress, sound settings and privacy choices are stored on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the game deletes them.
Email updates on our website
On idleanimator.com you can sign up for emails about the beta and the game's release. If you do, we collect the email address you enter and a record that you agreed to receive these emails. We use your address only to send you news about Idle Animator.
The emails are sent through Brevo, an email service run by Sendinblue SAS, which stores your address for us. Brevo may also record technical information, such as the date and IP address of your sign-up and whether an email was opened or a link in it was clicked.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at the address below. Signing up is separate from the game: the game does not know your email address, and your address is not linked to your gameplay.
The website does not set cookies or run analytics of its own. Like any website, the companies that host it and serve its fonts (GitHub and Google) receive your IP address when your browser loads the page.
What we do not collect
The game does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or anything from your microphone or camera. The website collects your email address only if you sign up for email updates.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing an advertising identifier for personalized ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws; see "Your choices" for how to opt out. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
In the game, open Settings and look under "Ads and privacy":
- Personalized ads: allow or withdraw permission for ad partners to personalize ads.
- Share gameplay statistics: turn the collection of gameplay statistics on or off.
- Do not sell or share my data: tell our ad partners not to sell or share your information, as provided by US state privacy laws such as the CCPA.
You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings: on iOS under Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on Android under Privacy > Ads.
If you signed up for email updates, use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop them, or contact us at the address below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent you have given. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us at the address below. Because the game has no accounts, we may need details from your device to find your information.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for personalized ads and for email updates, on your agreement to this policy and our legitimate interest in improving the game for gameplay statistics, on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working for crash reports, and on performing our agreement with you for delivering purchases.
How long information is kept
Gameplay statistics, crash reports and advertising records are kept by Unity for as long as needed for the purposes above and in line with Unity's retention practices, then deleted or made anonymous. Information saved on your device stays there until you delete the game. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; after that we keep only what is needed to make sure you are not emailed again.
International transfers
Unity and the other recipients listed above may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. They use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
Children
Idle Animator is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age your country sets for consenting to data processing), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game or the website, contact us and we will have it deleted.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, the game will ask you to agree to the updated policy.
